Terms & Conditions​

1. PURPOSE

This policy outlines the position of IT‑IQ Botswana as it relates to Terms & Conditions for training and testing at our institutions.

2. SCOPE

This policy applies to all courses and certification exams on offer at IT‑IQ Botswana.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Coordinator: Responsible for executing terms and conditions for training.

Regional Test Centre Manager: Responsible for executing terms and conditions for exams.

Operations Director: Has overall oversight for this policy.

4. PROCEDURE DESCRIPTION

4.1 Disease Control

4.1.1 IT‑IQ Botswana will comply with all Government‑issued regulations during contagious disease outbreaks.

4.1.2 Candidates showing symptoms of infectious diseases may be required to reschedule.

4.2 Exam Booking Conditions

4.2.1 An exam registration form is required for every exam.

4.2.2 Exams are subject to audio and video monitoring.

4.2.3 Collected data is used only for exam administration.

4.2.4 Full payment is required before booking.

Accepted payment methods:

  • EFT
  • Cash

4.2.5 Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior. No refunds for late cancellations or no‑shows.

4.2.6 Candidates must follow exam provider rescheduling policies.

4.2.7 IT‑IQ Botswana is not responsible for missed exams due to candidate failure.

4.2.8 Incorrect exam bookings remain the responsibility of the candidate.

4.3 Terms & Conditions for Training

4.3.1 Delegates must complete registration forms on day one.

4.3.2 Course schedules are strictly enforced.

4.3.3 Delegates must meet all prerequisites.

4.3.4 Physical Training

Training is conducted at Plot 68, Unit 8, Commerce Park, Gaborone.

Hours: 08h30 – 16h30 unless otherwise communicated.

4.3.5 Learner Conduct

  • Compliance with learner code of conduct is mandatory
  • No personal software or storage devices without approval

4.3.6 Catering

Light lunch and refreshments are provided. Special dietary needs are not guaranteed.

4.3.7 Virtual Training

  • Delegates must provide suitable hardware
  • Stable internet access is required

4.3.8 Digital & e‑Learning Content

  • Licences are non‑transferable
  • No refunds once activated or issued

4.4 Refund & Learner Withdrawal

4.4.1 IT‑IQ Botswana may change or cancel course dates.

4.4.2 No liability for costs incurred due to rescheduling.

4.4.3 Force Majeure

  • Acts of God
  • Government restrictions or lockdowns
  • War, riots, terrorism, or civil unrest
  • Utility disruptions

4.4.4 Training no‑shows are charged full fees.

4.4.5 Approved refunds incur a 15% administration fee.

5. AFTER COURSE SUPPORT

Post‑course support is available on request and managed on a case‑by‑case basis.

6. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

IT‑IQ Botswana accepts no liability for personal injury or loss of belongings on its premises.
